Perge circa 50-30 BC a Greek coin under Roman Rule about the time Juilius Caesar was contemplating having his portrait on his Imperial coinage, after this coin there was a succsesion of Roman emperors from near the start of the second century AD that included their portrait with this temple of Artemis Pergaia. The strong strike, detail and emerald green patina not often seen on these coins attracted me to it.
