I usually hunt through $1,000 in halves and $1,000 in quarters every week, looking for the normal finds. I was a little behind, so I had to go through five boxes of quarters today. These boxes were all mixed and didn't include anything newer than 2025 coins. I did find two "W" Quarters, and a 1964-S Silver Quarter. However, out of nowhere, this popped up. It was the only 2026 coin in the rolls. I was stunned. What are the chances?
Sal, you need to look it up. There is a very famous story about the Liberty Bell; its creation, locations, formation of the crack and efforts to save the bell. The crack on the 2026 design is a normal part of the coin.
