They think, and its good advice, that where the seller has the money, they may be lax in getting info out in a timely manner, just as imrich stated. Also, when it comes time to speak with a rep for info, wouldn&#039;t you feel more comfortable being able to speak with them, rather than being told they can only give the info to the person that filed? When you are the buyer, and you file the claim, all the info goes to YOU...they will talk to YOU on the phone...fact is, plain and simple, the BUYER, or ADDRESSEE CAN file the claim.
