Just checked into the hotel. Got to meet Charmy, Mike Noodle and Carlton today. Just happened to be going by her table and they were all there. I think some more members plan to meet there at noon tomorrow. I'll be there at noon again too.

Well, so far I've burned through a half a tank of gas and paid $3.20 in tolls to have the privilege to get to Rosemont. $13 to park for one day in the convention center garage. Another $13 tomorrow. Basic lunch was $9.50 and I've bought a couple $3.50 (small) bottles of water....... It's been a while. And thankfully I've got GPS or I might still be looking for the place. Coming in here isn't for the faint of heart! lol But it's been worth it.

Guys, I've got to tell you... You can't imagine how huge this show is! I think everybody there is overwhelmed. I've probably walked a few miles today. Pretty much been disoriented the whole time. You get so focused on looking at the displays and cases that you don't know which way you're going most of the time. Opposite walls pretty much can't be seen and you lose track of where you are. If you leave something you want at a dealers table, you won't find your way back unless by pure chance, or you get the number and use the map! lol Found that out a couple of times already.

It is unbelievable what is there. I'd say hundreds of thousands of silver dollars to choose from. Some areas have piles of gold coins. Case after case. The ANA's display is amazing. High grade coins abound. Got to see a 1804 dollar today, under half inch thick glass with a motion sensor behind it and a guard sitting there. It's in an Intercept shield plastic holder, so I'd say that's good advertising for them. Several displays of early American cents and one from a private collection I had never known existed.

The currency on display is also stunning.

PCGS has several of the finest issues known on display while NGC has an amazing display of some of the finest Morgans ever graded. I dropped off a coin to be crossed over to NGC while I was there. Very convenient. Based on the value, they only wanted $65 to grade it at the show. Includes the scratch resistant holder. By the time you pay $20 shipping plus standard grading fees, if you only want one coin graded you may as well do it right there. I can get it back tomorrow afternoon. (Sucks to be you guys waiting what was it? 46 days!? I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. lol)

As I was heading for the exit, there was a little glass case next to a dealers table that blended in with everything else. I just happened to glance in to see what was there. One of the bills on the top shelf was a $10,000 bill that somebody wanted $120k for!! The case was full of stuff. You could walk right by and not even notice it there. Words can't describe how much is here. That's all I can say. It is an awesome sight to behold.

I just got a couple nice pieces so far that I'm really happy with. I'll post pics after I'm home.
