Where did that come from?&nbsp; I looked a little closer.&nbsp; It seems there is &quot;something&quot; stuck to the obverse side.&nbsp; I used my finger and found that i could partially lift it.&nbsp; What i saw underneath was truly cool.&nbsp; </p><p>Aspects of whatever this is stuck to the coin is imprinted on the coin, and details of the coin are not so clear.&nbsp; Also, its shiny underneath.&nbsp; Not like all over th surface brand new coin shiny, but more like coppery highlights.</p><p><br /></p><p>Should i remove whatever this is from the surface?&nbsp; Is it possible this coin was struck with this barrier in place at the time??&nbsp; Thus cementing it to the coin and distorting the details?&nbsp; Or is this something applied later that would eat at the surface??&nbsp; It weighs 3.3 grams.</p><p><br /></p><p>What do u think?
