:help!A: i found this weird looking coin in my change the other day it caught my attention when i noticed the words on the back where fatter than usual. the photo is not blurry, it is actully quite accurate.:thumb: and plus on the front it's kind of off center. im sort of new to the collecting thing so if you will pleas give me a fully detailed explanation for this, thanks
You have to shoot dead on. The background is also out of focus on the bottom so it's hard to tell what you actually have. Welcome to CoinTalk!
thank for replying so quickly! heres some more pictures as you can see the words on the back are fatter than usual. and some things you can't even read.
From your description and because I think I see some heavy flow lines, I think it's just a very worn die.
its not simple to difine the value of the error coin but this one i never really seen before.. im not even sure if it is it might just be worn..try doing some research..a error coin that i see is like this..
Alls I can say is you shake to much LOL do you have a mode on your camera with like a little flower on it? That is for taking close ups If you do try that hold it about 2 to 3" above the coin very still Flash off and as much natural outside light as possible.
