Thanks to all who replied quickly. I've been thinking of these 136 chances to find something worth saving an truly unique... also, is there a site I can go to to see the rim of the 40% silver, cause I'm interested to know what they look like...thanks again..
That's great to know... because I have 5-64's , 3-65's , 4-66's, 21-67's 12-68's, 1-69, 28-71's , 16-72's, an so forth.. oh yea,,, bicentennial.. 23 of them.. 64 through 69 look like silver an the rest are looking like this is going to be fun..
Hoping to not confuse the gentleman. I have 8 rolls of 40% from roll hunting with a wide range of toning. And a complete set BU & proof in an album.
Okay, but I’m not lying to the man. 40%ers are clad (80/20) as well and therefore can show edges very similar to that or later non-silver dates.
That's a good number of coins... I was wondering about weight an silver content do to the coins that are 70-today,,,, because there are a few 71's I have that look like they have silver in them... judging by the rim..
Hello, I have a 1965 Kennedy half dollar that weighs 12 grams even. I'm sure my scale is correct and have tested it. Has anyone ever heard anything about a coin like this? I've read it's either going to weigh 11.5 g if 40% silver and 12.5g if 90% silver.
