You ask others in the class what they think about the answer in an attempt to let the class have a discussion which usually results in them thinking the problem out together and TEACHING THEM SELVES. </p><p><br /></p><p>I've already asked ALL of our knowledgeable numismatists to please not give the correct answer away. Now, any poster (including the experts who have been very patient) should feel free to ask anyone posting WHY they thought the mark was what they said it was. This is a discussion forum and I have posted an image to discuss.</p><p><br /></p><p>Example: If someone posts that a mark is a lamination. You can ask why do you think that? If they reply "because ....." I wish it belonged to me. The coin is 100% original with a full, frosty white surface. There are just a few tiny hairlines and raised mint die polish (I turned the coin so they would not be visible) With regard to the three obvious characteristics I'm asking folks to ID, one is very common, and the other two are less common BUT RARLEY SEEN TOGETHER!
