I go to multiple banks, multiple locations. I’ll switch on or off banks every few weeks and will just make orders for pickup. This way I don’t bother one location too much. I live in Florida, we are open for business down here
I used to find at least one silver dime for every 20 rolls i searched the maximum amount my bank would let me get now I can't get anything.
I got my four boxes of quarters and about $580 in mixed coins from my bank for this weekend, so it should keep me occupied.
Indeed Austin. Pre-coin shortage, I generally just used one branch. But when they had to cut back to giving me only two boxes a week, I simply started ordering two boxes a week from four other branches. If you have a business account, it makes the job much easier. When venturing to one of your bank's branches that do not know you, I always first give the teller a few checks to deposit and ask them for your balance. When they check your balance and see that you're a real good customer and hand you your two receipts, that's when you hit them with "oh I almost forgot, our business also needs a box of nickels and a box of quarters". It's like taking candy from a sleeping baby. As a quick aside, these past few months I have been finding an unusually large number of nicely toned copper cents. Anyone else finding this? Also, why are there so few beautifully toned Canadian cents?
Always check your buffalos for die clash marks. And for rotated die errors. Very nice score for a nickel box!
