Since Ike dollars do not circulate much, it is hard for me to believe this is a worn coin. So I was wondering if this is just a weak strike. Major lack of details in the center would tilt towards worn, did this coin circulate enough to cause this wear? The edge is distinct but rather smooth. Opinions welcomed.

    Ouch. :p

Use in a casino, back in the days when the slots played coins, could generate that much wear on an Ike in a few months of hard usage.

Were they still using actual coins in 1976? I know they were in 1970 when I worked just outside Vegas. Oh! I could have had soooo many silver dollars back then. Don't remember what year they changed to tokens.
