That you are convinced that the coins that you like or end up buying are nicer than they really are. That can be a dangerous thing for a coin collector. And it is without a doubt the hardest thing there is to overcome in this hobby.</p><p><br /></p><p>It's an issue that is so common among collectors that one might even say that it is natural to be that way, and perhaps it is. Pride in the things we own and in ourselves is natural I suppose, and all in all not a bad thing. But when it comes to coins, it can be. Am I tough on coins ? You bet I am, and for good reason. I know how easy it is to be swayed by a particular coin, how easy it is to let one aspect put blinders over your eyes so you see only the good and not the bad.
