This is a common retail type price but with some work (and never shipping) at shows or shops they can be had cheaper. I like them at 3 cents each and try to buy at no more than 2.5 or 2.25. If you can get established with a dealer you can and will get better deals but your figure is a common retail type price.
Also, don't fall for the 'sealed' rolls of wheats with an Indian cent on one end, and similar offers. As to bank roll searching, wheats are few and far between these days. there's a company called HCC that has great wheat bags (5000) for under $300.
