Way overgraded, don't you think?

    I think the guy who graded this coin made $250,000 + tips if you get my drift.

    I'm not surprised either but I wouldn't quite give it an VF-20. It looks more like a F-12 to me but it isn't over the top at VF-20. I think the obverse though makes it a F-12 with the reverse a possible VF-20.

    I guess the grading standards are less strict than I thought (I've been out of collecting a long time).... I was thinking somewhere around a VG-8. I would just call this coin "low grade" and forget about it. I still have a hard time understanding why someone would submit this "beauty" for grading when the value is far less than the cost.

    S mints on certain years were struck much weaker than Philly or Denver strikes.
