First I've heard of a so far off center cent
coming out of a coinstar machine.

    Great catch !

Too bad it doesn't have a date.

I never even find any coins in the Coin Star machines at the local establishments. They must hire employees whose specific job is to check the machines.

I used to find coins regularly where I shop, but after the employees saw me remove a handfull of coins, I think they rush over every time someone uses it. Now I just occasionally find something. This was a huge surprise.

If you see them, report them to their supervisor for loafing on the job.:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

    Great find for coinstar!
I find the occasional foreign coin and crusty US stuff. I've lucked out a few times with silver but rarely. I'd trade all those finds for yours. Congrats!

Pretty amazing find. And looks to be a real copper cent as I detect no zinc showing in the stretch zone.

I’ve found about a half dozen silver dimes, but nothing larger. Surprisingly they were mostly Mercury dimes, not Roosevelt. Lots of foreign coins and a few tokens.

My first coinstar silver was a Canadian QE2 dime. Found a few Roosies and also a 40% Kennedy. Not much though.

What a fantastic find! No wonder Coinstar rejected it. Stupid machine. :)
