Darned it! I analyzed the current numismatic market and sunk my last $20 in getting some extra BU Sacs. Guess I got it wrong again! Well, I'm saving up now so that I can get rolls of those acid date buffalos before they shoot through the roof.........

    nuts

Man these people are nuts, that seams like a lot of money for a set that sold for 100 bucks less that a year ago.
Although I may be a little bitter since I put my money in the Sanfrancisco commems instead of the 3 piece eagles.:desk: :desk: I thought the Sanfrancisco coins looked great, for a great cause. Obviously I am one of the few.

i agree with you vipergts2!!! the coin was for a great cause, and i loved the desing. But i always remember that collectors get real weary and just plain sick and tired of the government putting out commems for government facilities. In the past, it was abused, so when the San Fran commem came out, thats all i thought about. I only bought 1 of each for my collection. i never thought they would sell out or command much in the secondary ...

Speaking of commanding the secondary market... has the Marine Corps Commem done anything at all?

BTW, this unopened box is currently the only one I could find selling on e-bay. Looks like most of the unopened boxes are just about gone compared to a few months ago.

    I still have unopened boxes...

    One with two sets
    One with 3 sets
    Two with 5 sets

I opened my first box of 5 sets I received.

I won't be selling these any time soon.

    EDIT------

Just found several more unopened.... SEALED sets... HERE
