Was this 1927 Buffalo Nickel Cleaned

If you look closely there are some lines (incused and raised) across the devices on both obv and rev, that by itself is enough to give me pause.

 

There's some that run across the central part of the body on the Buffalo, and across the hair on the obv. But in both cases they do run "with the grain" of the toning. Kinda makes me wonder ........

There also appears to be some corrosion under the jaw line.
