And a special thanks to RickyB for his posts to help the fund raiser.&nbsp; So I have been off the grid for a few days as I was relaxing at the inlaws up in the mountains for the past few days.&nbsp; It is really beautiful where they live.&nbsp; It has snowed for the past 3 days.&nbsp; They had over a foot of snow.&nbsp; Just really nice to sit there and stare out the window and watch the deer walk by.&nbsp; Sounds crazy, but after the week I had at work, this was the peaceful weekend that I needed.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>For those of you that are new to CT or new to the mention of the fundraiser, here is an explanation.&nbsp; Last year, myself and a fellow CTer, Stainless organized a fund raiser for a dear friend of ours here on CT whose wife had passed away after a long battle against cancer.&nbsp; We asked members to donate whatever they could and the funds would be donated to the American Cancer Association.&nbsp; In addition to that, several members donated prizes that where given to the top contributors.&nbsp; The prizes were unbelievable.&nbsp; Rzage (Rusty), who the fundraiser was for, even donated a GSA Carson City Morgan as the top prize.&nbsp; We ended up raising over $1200. Nearly all the contributors received a prize.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Although we had a wonderful response, we know that we could do better.&nbsp; So this year, Stainless and I are hoping that we can surpass our efforts from last year.&nbsp; And with all your help, this can be possible.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We are currently raising these credits to be used towards an advertising campaign that we hope will keep members up to date on the amounts raised and the progress that we are making.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Thanks again to RickyB for keeping this project on everyones minds and thank you to all of you who have donated your credits over the past year.&nbsp; There are about a half dozen or so CTers who I can expect weekly donations from.&nbsp; Thank you for keeping this cause on your minds as well.&nbsp; We hope to start the fundraiser in March, so stay&nbsp; tuned for more info as it comes. </p><p>Joe[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
