Noticed an abnormality on Kennedy’s nose, chin and ear. It this doubled or machine doubling?

on the reverse I photoed a small lamination issue and noticed a few of the adjoining eagle feathers seem to have the same look. 3F8687C5-5976-4F43-B24E-7AB95F04A629.jpeg BC0326C9-4380-4964-87E1-39045470AF76.jpeg AE056265-0D2E-45E6-832F-BE632829BA81.jpeg 5B871173-32DA-4081-B362-3E49FF38A910.jpeg F42AF238-116B-4486-A2B8-23822861927A.jpeg 44749106-0364-4637-94F5-2308E79423D3.jpeg

It looks like machine doubling to me because the "second nose" looks flat and "benchy." Since it's really marked up, it's only worth 50 cents.

Somehow it seems the mint lost the ability to make larger coins along the line. Starting with 1971 Kennedy's, the series is replete with machine doubling, overpolished dies, grease filled, etc. Just poorly made all around.

I hated how it replaced Franklin just because he was stupid enough to get shot. Franklin did 1000 times more things for this country than Kennedy ever did.

The alternative was that Kennedy would have replaced Washington on the quarter, but Mrs. Kennedy vetoed that idea.
