Um, no they don't. The most they can know is where it came from, not what's inside the box, unless the label states what is inside. Once you seal a box it is not opened unless you get a snoop or a thief.

Ok ....I can see that you're the expert here having once delivered packages as a part time job.
Never seems to fail in here to find sooooooo many experts on everything and anything . I will let Green know that your tenure in the package delivery business supercedes his.

If there is no business name on the package, just simple addresses, there is no way to know what's inside.

The package you received probably left an indication that there may have been coins inside. Like "JOE'S COIN SHOP" in bold on the package or whatever, probably not smart to have that on there.

It's why I don't like filling out customs forms for international mail, you practically state the contents right next to the address. lol

So when you buy an item from the US mint it doesn't say hey here's your package from the mint...no it sez Fulfillment center same thing. And in today's world you can Google anything or trace anything.

You're obviously an idiot. Part time? Sure, whatever pal. I have experience in the business, you don't, enough said BUT I will say more. The labels do not state what is in the box and there is NO WAY POSSIBLE to know what is inside a box unless the box is opened, you lame brained galoot. Does this make it plain to you? If I ship a box and put a label on it from me to you, with no other information, there is no way the driver will know what is inside. Well, UNLESS the driver is doing something illegal and opening the box and retaping it shut. Now I'm done.

Just know your last post has been reported. Maybe you need to find a forum for people with anger issues.

I have had around 1000 packages shipped through usps in the last few years, and not one of them have gone missing, though a few were close.

Parcel delivery services only open a package if it's suspect, such as drugs. They can't possibly open every package that comes through or nobody would ever get their packages. Even if the parcel service inspected a package, that is not the drivers responsibility, so even if the package was opened and inspected and taped shut again there is still NO WAY the driver will know what is inside. Sure, if a package is coming from Littleton Coin Company and it says so on the label, the driver will know it's something related to coins, but they don't know exactly what is in the box. The only way a driver knows is if the driver is dishonest and opens the box and looks inside, OR if you are packing something up in front of the driver for a pick-up and they see what you are packing.

Ok Guys, stop the name calling. Next time you get a UPS, USPS, or fedex delivery, photograph the label to show it implies valuables inside. Black out your identity. Maybe we can get some resolution.
