A 1929 $20 National from West Frankfort Illinois. It had a tear on it that was mentioned and easily seen in the scans. The reserve was $150. It sold for $482. Apparently a few people wanted it but we didn&#039;t have a five page auction about how &quot;rare&quot; it was because numbers indicated it wasn&#039;t all THAT rare.</p><p><br /></p><p>We didn&#039;t look for suckers. We put it up for sale with a reserve. Apparently a few people wanted it.</p><p><br /></p><p>We research before listing then determine a fair price.
