You are right I am not gonna argue with you. But if you can't see that the coins are already rolled in a format that is unique to today and not original style then you will be the one that is ripped off not the seller.
There is absolutely zero originality to the sellers rolls. Read Dave's post above yours.

So who says they're original? The seller doesn't. Again, there are plenty of scams on Ebay. This, however, isn't one of them.

And again we say buyer beware. If you don't know the coin(s) you are buying and how they were presented to the public when released. You may be unknowingly buying a seeded roll. I don't trust those that have a so called Halo above their head.

If the buyer was in anyway concerned about you and not himself. This roll would not be shot gunned and he would have photos of at least edges and some surfaces for better judgement by the consumer.

If you are the buyer, and you are unable to see the coins you are buying, it will be a crap shoot on what you will receive, especially when there is zero buyers protection written in the agreement. Be prepared for all the center coins to be worth the average value of high AU and low MS or worse when making an offer.

No matter what the seller says in the description, deception is being used
to lure the buyer to spend more money for junk silver coins.
You can spin it any way you want, and rationalize it any way you want,
but this is not an honest seller.

Deception is funny to define for sure.
    • Rent to own a flat screen TV for only $20.00 a month! At the end of sixty months you could have purchased four flat screen TV's.
    • Drive off the lot today. No money down! No payments for 18 months! When you take the time to do the arithmetic, after the eight year payment commitment you have purchased the car twice.
I see these sorts of ads almost daily, yet they are out there. I find them to be deceptive and destructive to young folks (the primary target of these sorts of outfits). I do believe they are morally corrupt ways to conduct business and are just as deceptive as seeding rolls of coins to appear to be something that they are not.

ALL advertising involves deception of some sort. I am not going to be irresistible to women regardless of what kind of cologne/body spray I use...nor is the brand of beer I drink going to make me interesting.

I am not in any way saying that this seller is a stellar individual. Is he looking for a sucker? Yes, he is. I'm merely saying that the word "scam" does not apply in this case any more than it would apply in the case of an ad for a particular brand of soap.

Not true. This is a blanket statement, and when you use a word like "all"
that means 100% all the time.

No, I meant all. Show me an advertisment that doesn't embellish the truth.

I don't care how you slice it. Deceit is Deceit. It's a good thing that there weren't any counterfeits in the roll. I doubt if you could prove you got counterfeits mixed in the roll. You'd really be out then. I hate scammers.

People still fall for this - sad.

I guess some of them so ignorant to realize if your going to buy a roll you need to look at every coin! Your looking at expensive tuition if you don’t.

Buyers - you need to take responsibility - if you can’t see all the coins in the roll being offered dont buy or bid on it.

Saying "this is the finest" is different than "None Finer". Advertisers can say the second but not the first.

When I have sold Lincoln wheat cent lots on eBay I listed them as
"Unsearched by you" and in my description have stated that I believe there are very very few unsearched wheat cent Lots out there. It's amusing to see the listings of Cent rolls with Mercury , Barber dime ends. What is really amazing is to see what some of these rolls go for at auction.
    P.T Barnum was right.

Gotta tell ya this Randy. My ma and dad were collectors. For 50+ years i knew but really didn't know. I guess i sorta showed the most interest in coins of their children. (only guessing) i found this collection in my craw space looking for x-mas ornimants. Boxes of coins. When i found these. I really wasn't a collector. MA and dad must of been like @green18 cuz There's alot of coins I've never saw before. And they were commemorative types silver. (no gold) then we got drunk and put them away. Save them for the youngins to search. Seeing that they were left with me. (some sister were not interested. ( Thinking parents left them for me) but ma wrote their name on many. Were going to let the grandbabies figure it out some day. There's Dutch Master cigar boxes of rolled coins. But yet i coin role search but it kills me to leave ma and dads hoard alone. Who does that?
