War nickel greaser? Or unknown Henning?

Under 12x and good lighting I can see no trace of a mint mark on this 1943 war nickel. I realize that only 1944 is a recognized Henning possibility, so I, of course, heavily lean toward this coin being a greaser. I see no defect in the R of Liberty, either, but I have read that not all Hennings have the defect.

It might be pareidolia but sometimes I see a faint P above the dome. At other times I see nothing.

    So, what is your opinion?

I am one of those guys that never can see an image in the dots..... I looked every way I know how. I do not see it myself.

I see a clown but I don't think that helps.

I see a P as well. Very worn. But it's there.

Lamination. They are very common on war nickels.

Not a die crack. A lamination.

I "think" I see a "P" in the first photo, but it's much closer to the dome than this example...

Edit: The "P" appears in the correct position in the second picture...I don't know.

And it's oriented right. It goes up high enough, I'm seeing.

I just outlined what I could see... Maybe the wear made the "P" smaller?
