The above sites are excellent but are you looking for info on the cent in general, like all cents, large and small? Or just a certain type like Lincoln Wheat, Indian, Flying Eagle...?

Im more into Lincoln Wheat cents myself. If that is what youre looking for then a good book that I would suggest is the Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents by Wexler and Flynn. Tons of info on The Lincoln Cent, from how it came to be, to a year by year analysis, varieties, and so forth.

I really like the series and have always been a fan of Abraham Lincoln. I want to try and build a great collection to pass down to my son one day.

Not the biggest fan of ol honest Abe as they called him, Ford didn't get elected again cause he pardoned Nixon though from what I have been told.

Didn't get re-elected because he was not elected in the first place. His failure to be actually elected in 1976 was probably not directly a result of his pardoning Nixon, though that was controversial.
