Dear Members of CoinTalk, We are a Stamp and Coin Collecting Club in California. As per our mission statement, we educate and stimulate the hobby of collecting stamps and coins. If you have traveled to foreign countries and have unwanted or no intrinsic value to you, or even change or paper notes leftover from your travels, we appreciate you considering to donate them for education, and collecting to preserve this hobby of great historic value. Likewise, we welcome stamps you may wish to donate to our club. We thank You very much for your willing generosity and help. We are looking forward to start creating a Donor Recognition List to honor those who helps our club growth and make it part of our club's history. We are grateful for your consideration and for contacting us.
Develop a habit of referring to them as "World" coins. Foreign coins can even be US coins not in your possession. Like barber quarters are foreign to my collection, et al. A treasure chest of World coins, can be had at most large coin shows, just ask the harried dealers. My local shop, has a box of freebies sitting out at all times (actually, they are 10 cents each).
