Someone mentioned liking to see coins and I know a lot of dealers have benefited from some of us deciding to buy type posted by others of our number. I suspect some of you have too much free cash and need to buy more coins so I'll show a few here (specifics or categories) that I don't recall us discussing for a while. I'm away from home so do not have access to references other than online. I apologize for errors. We will not all find the same things interesting so I invite you to post coins similarly underrepresented in recent CT posts. If you have examples of these coins, feel free to show them also.

My first is a silver stater of Kroton but not the popular one with incuse reverse matching the obverse tripod that we associate with the city. We still have the tripod but now we have an eagle sitting on a deer head. Note the city name is still spelled with the qoppa instead of the later kappa. These are struck in good silver which makes them wear more quickly than we might like but I liked this enough to buy it as one of my first Greek silvers.

Another well worn Italian is this stater of Velia. I believe part of the reason is most of the silver drachms have the same reverse of a seated archer. Bronzes are much more varied but most are small and crude or worn.
