Wannabe Photographer got a new Camera

Going to have to buy a book for this one. </p><p><br /></p><p>I'm struggling with - I think - noise reduction and sharpness. The photos look decent until I crop away the excess and resize down to 900 pixels wide, and at that point everything starts to look grainy and not as sharp.
