I put a raw set together in a Dansco looks very nice, easy on the pocket I'll post a photo later. by the way they are AU/BU coins
I am in the process of filling a 1952 dated Dansco folder Liberty Standing Half Dollars From 1935 with circulated halves that I am buying at junk silver prices, except for the 1938-D of course, and it really won't matter that they may acquire some album toning in this folder before I decide to part with it. I also have two Capital Plastics Liberty Walking Half Dollar 1941-47 short set holders which are future projects. These two will house mint state raw coins as there is no shortage of nice BU raw Walking Liberty half dollars to choose from. The white one is for toned coins and the black is one for blast white coins. With Capital Plastics holders there is no album cover to open or pages to turn to see the entire set of halves, just take of out of the box, turn it over, and there they all are to see. The primary issue I have with the Dansco albums is that the coins must be pushed far enough in their openings to not get hairline scratches from the plastic pane going in and out when adding or removing coins.
