I agree, but you have to stay on top of it and make sure it's cancelled and stops and that you didn't miss something, or they didn't miss something being returned.

I'd call it beating them at their own game more than anything, I just personally refuse to play with them at all.

I did business with them when I was collecting stamps. But then I was just a kid and answered their ads in some magazines. Actually it was in a former life I lived. Lol

I buy stuff from Littleton 2-3 times a year. I like their folders and albums. I have bought modern circulating coins from them for hole fillers. They aren't anymore expensive than someone on eBay for modern base metal circulating coins. Some though are way overpriced. They are proud of say 2009 nickels and dimes. Now they did change their shipping charge to a flat $7.95 awhile back.

I have never done any of the gimmick ads though. I bought this medal/token piece from them. It was $6.95. Along with some coin supplies. The medal/token is enamaled, but, anything goes in exonumia.

See, that's already probably gaining value, because it's obsolete -- it doesn't include SPAAAAAAACE FOOOOOORRRRRRRCE...

I got a free return label and I put in big black letters to cancel future shipments. Minor hassle, in my opinion for the good price
