Because of course they are. After all, the whole point of this Mint exercise is to drum up interest in the hobby, and how can that possibly happen without first turning it into a new revenue stream for TPGs?

Discovery is an odd term for "finding it in change by dumb ass luck".

 

At this point I feel like taking my ATB album and dumping the contents in a coinstar machine.

 

Dealer is in Kansas City, Mo. and no where close to me. I’ll probably never see one in change, and he gets a whole roll.

I'm a few hours away from three different dump locations... two boxes and nothing to show for it except dirty hands so far...

Well, no "W's" at least... I've upgraded a few of my ATB quarters, so it's not a complete loss... ;-)

 

Struck out at 3 local banks this morning. I’ll probably have to wait a while for 2019s to show up.

 

Spotted a cash-register slot full of blindingly-lustrous quarters today here in the NC hills, and excitedly asked for four of them as part of my change. 2018-P Block Island.

So, I am now at the Miami International Airport and decide to grab a coffee at Starbucks. I pay cash and see a shiny Lowell Mass quarter handed to me in change. I get excited for a moment until I see the P mint mark. No W for me this time. Anyone on CT find one yet? TC

 

A local dealer (south central Michigan) found five. He sold four and brought the fifth to our local coin club meeting last night.

 

Well, they're $40 now and people are paying that.

 

Got some ATBs yesterday and they were all 2016.
