Wound up having some time I needed to wait in the city, so I stopped by the Asian Art Museum. I liked this "VOC" plate they had, which was made in Edo Period Japan. Apparently, it was imitative of earlier Chinese export works. So this post is not too far off topic, here is one of my VOC coins: These used tb be pretty cheap in low grades. Usually $1-2 US. 1 Duit VOC West Friesland 1729-1794 Please feel free to post any VOC coins if you like.
