This coin was obviously given to her by a soldier sweetheart or relative who served in France in 1918, during World War I.</font></font></p><p><font face="Georgia"><font size="5"><br /></font></font></p><p><font face="Georgia"><font size="5">And that person was almost certainly the man who would become her husband: <a href="https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/95247936/howard-gloer-pearman" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/95247936/howard-gloer-pearman" rel="nofollow">Howard Gloer Pearman</a> (b. Both were buried in Hartwell.
