I had forgotten all about it until tonight. I think I may have found something worth posting for once lol. Anyways as you can see it's gold or gold plated it seems. I thought maybe somehow it was struck over with a Sacajawea or something crazy. So far after looking into it I've found out that in 94 the mint did a 2p British coin and a 300 yr commemorate gold 1694 to 1994 coin. There was a mix up where these coins reverses had gotten mixed up and 500 of these coins we're thought to be sent out this way. It said that the coin was worth around 2500. So I don't understand how if they did them in 1994 did I end up with one from 93. It has the ladies face on the front. That's the red block you see over Lincoln. If you take a light and go down each side of the coin you can see Elizabeth and all the other devices that's supposed to be there. It's almost like looking thru a clear coat varish or something but you can surely tell there is another coin that Lincoln has been stamped over. As the light goes over each letter they light up like fire on front and back. The back however has been hit twice once from each reverse from the initial mix up . If you look you'll notice the big two at the base of the memorial from the 2p coin. At the top you will see the crown floating above the three feathers from the 2p. The coin weighs 2.58 btw. My questions are since it's not even a 94, since it is double denomination, doubled died horribly front and back, it's bacically a mule I believe...correct me on that if I'm wrong. It sounds crazy but if you tilt it while looking at how big the spead is on it's ddo it really seems that I see two big 5's in with the 93!! I don't even understand how that's possible but I tried getting it in one of the pics if you zoom you should see what I mean at least a little bit. There are also weird little purple lines running down the middle of each pillar on the memorial and if you look very closely also letters I can't make out enough to read but can enough to tell you it's lettering. Wow but ya I think that's close to everything I've thought about it so far. Would really like to hear from someone else whom is more familiar with this whole error situation than myself about what the value may be or if it's some kinda trick coin or something lol. Not everyday you realize you have a golden fake American penny that probably supposed to be in another country right now. Or the fact it floated around this long without being found. I think that's mainly due to the fact the coin is dated 93 not 94 so it stayed under the radar. Well thanks for taking the time to read this somewhat crazy sounding post. Any input as long as its positive input will be appreciated
