very strange 1942 merc dime

    My first thought was corrosion and staining from a rubber band.
    The last images make me think, I don't have a clue.

    I will be attending the annual chillicothe show sunday,whilst there I will show this to my buddy Eric... who is an ex-grader @ Anacs and he also specializes in error coins... So hopefully he can tell me what kind of an error Ive got here.. I will relay the info!
