This is one of the biggest Roman coins I have ever bought not to mention one of the thickest. All I know about it is that I bought it from a local coin show for $10 a few days ago and that it is larger than an As. The only wording that I can make out on the front is ANVS AVG(good thing the Romans didn't use the letter U). The back looks much better in person and depicts someone standing with their arm drawn to someone who is knealing or crouching down. I would really love to know the denomination and who the ruler is.

The second coin is very worn and dates to 1720. I only paid a dollar for it so figured I couldn't go wrong. Looks like a lion on the front. Unfortunately my Krause doesn't date to the 1720s so am having a difficult time identifying it.

Thanks for any help,

NOS
