NCS cleans coins with some &quot;secret techniques&quot; and sends them to NGC to be graded unless too damaged, and rightfully so. If the current coins of the world could have damage safely removed and those coins are preserved then it will be around in the future. The purists (never touch the face or any aspect of the coin, are simply wrong here IMHO).
