Hi there We just inherited a few coins so we're absolutely beginners when it comes to collecting coins. A very interesting one we got was a Venecian ducat. Can anyone tell me roughly from what century it is and the value. Thanks
That looks like a Italian States/Venice coin. Most of the denominations are Zecchino. What is the weight of this coin ? looks 18th century. Wait for more opinions...
If you can get me the size in millimeters I can probably tell you what denomination and value it has....
I am sorry I only have World catalogs going back to the 17th century. Your coin looks like 14th century 1343-1354. @panzerman might be able to help you with this coin.
I am not sure what your coins grade is ? You might have a very valuable coin here ? Do not just sell it for gold weight.
If by any chance there's someone very strong on italian states coins i'd like an opinion on a osella of Andrea Gritti, ano X!By the way, best place for italian coins info,in case you don't know already is lamoneta.it(forum)! They've been very helpful whenever i needed support!
