During most of the delays at Customs they contact me and specifically ask for an invoice, because the seller didn't include anything at all. If the seller includes one Customs can get to without opening the shipment, then it is not really necessarily to include one inside as well. However, in worst case scenario - in the event that Customs do have to open a shipment - it certainly helps when an invoice is included. Thank you. I haven't seen such a list, but is definitely a great idea. The best would probably be if VCoins could implement a feedback system similar to what eBay offers. I mean, it easy to black or white wash a dealer when there is no formal feedback system in place. It can easily turn into to a witch hunt, but then again - those who buy ancient coins seem to be cut from a different cloth. Perhaps the start of such list could be the creation of a new thread here at CoinTalk. Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was in that regard in reference to pre-orders of modern coins. I wanted to get an idea of what folks deem as reasonable when it comes to pre-orders. I assumed that many folks who buy ancient coins also buy modern coins, but I should probably start a separate thread in another section. A pre-order is when news of a new coin that is not yet available comes to market. Buyers have the option to pre-pay and wait for it to become available. The new coin is in effect getting pre-sold. I hope this makes sense.
Well, maybe if you put in your order 2000 years ago.... In all seriousness, VCoins does not just have ancient coins, and I suspect the question was more of a general query.
Thanks for the link, I hope it continues to be updated by other v-coins buyers. I agree that v-coins should have a feedback system in place, similar, but more informative than eBay.
I wondered about that too. "Pre-order" regarding books means a book hasn't been published yet. If "pre-order" regarding ancient coins means a coin hasn't been minted yet, that may indicate a problem... Edit: Ah, I see this has been clarified now. I'll leave my original post with this addendum, because replacing it all with "redact" or something is silly.
