Looking at the listed design varieties for 1978S Proof Kennedy Half, it shows the missing corners at the top of the IN and the reverse spike on the leg of the R in LIBERTY. However, i can't find reference to the flattened 9 (top left quadrant). I have the same on both 1977S & 1978S proofs. Do you know anywhere else i can try to identify them? As you can see from the photo the top right corners are missing from IN and the reverse spike on the right leg of the R, but the flattened top left corner of the 9 is a mystery. Thanks in advance
I think the 9 is normal for the 1978. CoinFacts link. https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1978-s-50c-dcam/96816
