Like many here, I find Coppercoins to be the go-to Lincoln variety source. I do use the others but only if I can’t find it there. Same as others: CC does a better job of staying away from the very minor varieties. Less to sift through as a result. A comment or two on variety hunting: I primarily did Cent or Nickel CRH events. There are tons to look for and every mixed box of either netted several finds. While none of these have major value, if one is willing to sift through a box for a handful of LWCs worth even less, then CRH events become far more productive with varieties mixed in. Dimes produce the fewest, quarters after that. But searching pocket change increases those possibilities given I didn’t search boxes of those.
On most of the Facebook pages I follow whenever a new collector has a question on their coin the very first question they ask is "How much is this worth?" then they ask if it is an error or variety. It's sad to see the mindset of many new collectors thinking that they have something valuable.
I think this is the result of YouTube and Tictoc videos. I also notice the Browser feeds telling me to check my pocket change for a steel 1944 D LWC or an uncirculated 1914 D LWC. Even noncollectors get excited at the prices these specimens fetch. Of course, without the knowledge that they’ll never see one aside from photos.
I actually use all the variety sites why each shows different staging of the die this way I can label my coins according to the staging too Carry on
