Found this today. I have come across a small number of these coins where some nut has struck the coin with a hammer and chisel (or some such tool). But not a coin that is harder to find. Too bad......
Oof. I have pulled a roll each of P and D in all my searches. Not sure what I'm gonna do with them. Prolly toss em back in to circulation. Hopefully you can find one of them that are in better shape
I have also found a little over a roll of each P&D. Before I started finding them CRH, I bought 5 nice ones each of P&D from a generous member on CT. I think I will look through them all and see if any are worthy of sending to ANACS, as I can get them graded for about $15 a coin through our coin club.
I've had to "rescue" some keepers that have been tagged with a marker but nothing with a "counterstamp" like you have here.
