In searching for a 1955 D/S OMM Jefferson this am, I came across this service... $6 per coin seems reasonable for attribution...some sort of secondary slabbing?? had never seen these slabs before. The coin (shown) is in a PCGS slab as a 1955 D Jefferson. http://varslab.com/vamslab.html
Yes, that's me. Thanks for the nice words, everyone. Slabbed coins get a label on the back, raw coins go in their own PCGS-form factor holder. Almost everything I do is VAMs, but as you can see I've done other things for which I can get my hands on good attribution material. Let me know if you have any other questions about my service.
