AU58 does not make a MS63. Big difference.

from what I saw on Ebay completed auctions. I'd guess value from $3,000-5,000. wait for more experienced opinions....

    NGC/Krause listings:

FR-295 = $5,000 in MS60, no data for higher grades.
FR-297 = $4,750 in MS60, no data for higher grades.

But for a coin of this caliber, the best guide would be looking at completed (sold) auctions, as mentioned. Heritage, eBay, etc.

    Nice piece!

So In auction MS63 should bring more than $5000.00

I would say could, but not necessarily should. Auctions are tricky to predict, as you know.

But that's quite a valuable coin.

I am guessing $5,000-6,000+. As Lordmarcovan said there is no data on MS63 coins value so yes it has the potential to much higher then $5,000. you cannot predict the outcome of an auction. If 2 bidders fight over it then yes maybe over $5,000. Do you have this coin ? where did you get this coin ?

@Kaz Bagheri ...Very Nice! Yes to Spirityoda...would like some history about the coin. Did you inherit it or buy it 20 years ago? If the latter, it has probably appreciated a fair amount by this time, above the purchase price...

Thank you , I am a jeweler for 40 years, over the years I have been buying coins and put them away for retirement this coin I bought in early 80's and many others I will post more to get ideas for their values as they come back from NGC or PCGS .

Don't know. Since that's a medieval, you'd need to find completed sales/auctions of similar pieces. It's another really nice piece of early gold, but I'm afraid I can't help much with value.
