I have a 1953-S Jefferson graded MS66 by NGC. I checked out Heritage to see what they sell for, and apparently it is worth more than I thought. However, there were only a few examples, so I wanted to ask.
SO, what is this coin worth?

If you think it MIGHT be you could try cracking it out and resubmitting it. ;)

It is highly unlikely to be full steps. That date is extremely tough to find with steps.

The last three to sell on Teletrade are:

    10/12/2008: $6
    09/09/2007: $6
    07/04/2007: $33

PCGS coins in the same grade have routinely traded for $33-$45 over the last two years.

    Thanks.

It looks like these were selling for alot more between '04 and '06 than they are now. Hype from the westward journey nickels maybe?

Could be. The later prices could also be flukes. Sometimes auctions get missed and someone picks up a steal. My guess, though, is that these coins can easily be had for $10-$15 by poking around eBay and coins shows.
