    Hi I am trying to ID this Roman coin

    Can anyone help?

    With such a short legend, it looks like Valens.

    Yes. Valens. The "-S P F AVG" on the right side of the obverse inscription is the giveaway. Bronze coins of Valentinian usually have the less-than-flattering inscription "-ANVS P F AVG" on the right. (Why he left his celators get away with this, I can't say.)
