You don't say... I think a lot of us keep the filter on for the sake of not getting banned. I think a lot of us are very different out in the real world then how we seem on the interent. I have had some strong words all typed out ready to hit reply, but usually think about what I'm saying and delete them before I post.
I believe that Bellman is the same in person as he has been on the site. The problem sometimes is that Bellman will tell you that your baby is ugly. Lots of people don’t like to be told the truth and Kurt is so good at it! Kurt types what he thinks and then he presses post reply. He can back it up with knowledge and moxie plus to his determent he won’t back down when he’s right. Great loss Reed
True perhaps, but seldom with the grandiose megalomania that Kurt often indulged in. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed (for the most part) his contributions and wish he were still among us. But he has no filters and the notion that discretion is sometimes the better part of valor seems foreign to him. That's what led to his downfall.
While Bellman was entertaining, he was also certifiable, and his views on toning and coin pricing were astoundingly asinine. Lets put it this way, whenever I argued with him, which was all the time, I was glad we were on the internet. Anybody who defends GSC has a screw loose IMO.
If he is in real life as he was on this forum I would not like to keep his company. He got was he deserved.
I'd wager he got fed up with the maroons that constitute the group of moderators. After putting up/arguing with them for years he probably just said screw it when an opportune moment came along. He didn't get anything except what he asked for - that's different than getting what he deserved. Seems to me he always knew what he was doing.
