<p>[QUOTE=&quot;green18, post: 4096256, member: 10103&quot;]Tell ya what happened to me last April.....was expecting a very expensive lens from Nikon.&nbsp; I&#039;d been waiting months on this thing and they finally sent it out.&nbsp; Got the email notification with the tracking number and began to follow the progress of the package.&nbsp; Finally, on game day, the tracking shows the package is &#039;out for delivery&#039;.&nbsp; Great, I says.&nbsp; I continue to check the tracking throughout the day and at one point the info shows that the package has been delivered.&nbsp; Yippie, yay.......I check the front door.....nothing.&nbsp; Now I&#039;m freaking out.&nbsp; I call UPS (yup, my Alma Mata) and they say they&#039;ll send the driver back to my house.&nbsp; The driver shows up, and he can&#039;t seem to recollect a lick.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>Now, back in my day (I was a package driver) I took pride in my work and making sure that each package reached it&#039;s rightful destination.&nbsp; That&#039;s not to say that I didn&#039;t make mistakes, or misdeliver something on occasion, but the time stamp of the delivery, and my inquiry to UPS couldn&#039;t have been more than 15 minutes.&nbsp; This guy couldn&#039;t remember where he had delivered my package to.&nbsp; Short term memory shot.&nbsp; My God, you have no recollection of the delivery?&nbsp; Go back into your bloody DIAD and determine where you were 15 minutes ago.</p><p><br /></p><p>Driver said he would get back to me.&nbsp; He never did.&nbsp; I called the 1-800 number repeatedly and they eventually said that the package had been delivered one street over from me.&nbsp; They gave me the address.&nbsp; I drove over.&nbsp; I knocked on the door and a nice lady answered.&nbsp; Yes, she indeed had my package.&nbsp; She also stated that she intended to deliver my package to me (But that&#039;s the UPS guys responsibility, right?).&nbsp; Anyway, I get the package in hand and the dear lady relates to me that her husband works for Nikon, and gets a ton of packages everyday from them.&nbsp; So my driver &#039;assumed&#039;.......ain&#039;t seen that poor excuse for a delivery person since........[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
