Hey folks. A few weeks back, I negotiated the purchase of a nearly complete US type book from an eBay seller. The set was shipped immediately and proceeded to sit in USPS limbo for nearly 3 weeks. It was actually at the local sorting facility but I couldn't access it. Very frustrating! Finally, it is out for delivery today. I am very excited to see the coins in hand and will post images of them on this thread as I am able to photograph them. I intend on keeping some and flipping others to subsidize the rather considerable purchase price. And when I say "keep some", I mean give them to my son for his type book. Images to come once the coins arrive!
There is a single gold coin included. I’ll post that later. Here’s batch #1. Copper cents and half cents. Feel free to weigh in on grade/variety etc.
Here are several more. Some real beauties in here. Tough to pick a favorite but the 1835 half is pretty great. I’ve always like that type.
