The mint website experience will be just like last time. However, the mintages are higher than it was for the 2019S ERP or the 2020W V75 silver eagles by at least double those offerings, so in theory it should stay active for more than a few minutes and up to an hour or more to get past the initial crashing and captcha issues that arise by so many trying to log on and close out an order, and refreshing too much. I think it will start bad, it always does, but if you stick with it and keep trying it will work out smooth over and you'll get to place an order at 10-15 minutes after sales open up. As far as the 2019S ERP (mintage 30,000) and the 2020W V75 (Mintage 75,000), I got both of them with a lot of fighting to complete the orders in both cases but more time and much easier to get the V75 one than it was for the ERP easily double the sale time before it closed probably triple, I nearly missed the ERP that sold out in less than 20 minutes, the V75 silver eagle took about an hour to get marked sold out/unavailable I think. With 175K mintage and even with demand, I'd expect it to go at least an hour or a few hours like with the Pride of Two Nations set did which was about 4-5 hours and a mintage of 110,000. I think they are going to get the preferred dealers out of the way before it goes on sale, then you just have to face the flippers and their friends and people like yourself, and not so much the home shopping channels and APMEX and ect. and their brigades of processors and head hunters ordering for them the same time you are. those head hunters will still be there for the little guys that aren't bullion dealers looking for a quick flip to make a buck, but The regular dealers for the mint will get theirs and get out of the way and that should cut down the traffic in theory. If it's something you want, I'd say it's probably worth the effort and a good shot at getting it as long as you don't let the start of them going on sale drive you crazy and give up.
