Now I am not saying they changed it because of me, but eitherway they should make a note of the error or change in old description along with the changed description describing velvet pouches. You bought a couple of APE unc fractionals that are completely sold out and potentially very valuable due to low mintage and you were originally upset because the mint said they came in a protective presentation case and they came in a pouch inside a regular box instead. Bait and switch seems to me more correct if you got an inferior product. I've seen the APE unc and they are truly beautiful coins. You got a fabulous product. You can always return the coin for a full refund....and there'd be a thousand collectors out there drooling to buy those valuable, sold out APE fractionals knowing they come in a pouch and not a case.

Please correct me if I didn't get your point or missed something. I've been wrong before on this one.....

ND86: The only coins I collect by date are gold and platinum 1/10 eagles. Since I already own gold 1/10 oz bullion along with the proof series I decided to pass on the gold uncirulated since I would be doubling up on basically something I already own. Now I think the gold uncirculated in the presentation boxes look really nice especially all lined up and decided that I would begin collecting the platinum 1/10 oz uncirculated begining with 2006 assuming they came in a presenation box as stated. After waiting for the uncirculated eagles to go on sale and waiting to receive them I was highly let down that they do not come in the presentation book-like cases despite the description.
