The US Mint has forgotten their dimes! US Dimes have been the same since 1946, besides the metal composition change in &#039;64! Dimes have been the same for over 60 YEARS!! Are there any plans for a dime redesign in upcoming years? I would like to know because the dimes are getting pretty boring. I don&#039;t even buy rolls of them to search, and I only have two in my collection (one I may sell). </p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>With pennies, you can find in a roll new 2010 union shield, all four of the 2009 designs, the various years of memorial cents, and an occasional wheat cent. In nickels, there are the Louis and Clark designs, and then the Jefferson facing forward design, and the standard nickels from 1938 to 2003. Also, in rolls of half dollars, who knows what you may find if you&#039;re lucky!!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>It is very profitable for the mint to make more designs, because when there are new designs, people are more willing to buy an uncirc. set for their collection.
